The Sorbonne Economic Centre (Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne, CES) is a multidisciplinary research centre of the Pantheon-Sorbonne University in Paris. It is one of the most prominent French research units in economics. As part of D-CENT project, the group of research on cognitive capitalism in the CES-Axe Economy and Society deals with the critical analysis of knowledge based economy, the theory of common and the information commons and, in this context of the alternative currencies.
