The Internet Society in Netherlands (isoc.nl) has nominated ten innovative and interesting initiatives to receive the Internet Innovation Award 2016. We’re very happy to announce that D-CENT Freecoin is among the nominees. The winner will be selected and rewarded on the 14th of January at the Internet New Year’s event in Amsterdam. Read more +
On the 15th of December, D-CENT was showcased in London for an enthusiastic crowd of 200. The event, titled D-CENT Showcase and Opportunities for UK Digital Democracy was hosted by Nesta, UK innovation charity and D-CENT project coordinator. The beginning of the week has been followed by the attendance to the event Herramientas para la democracia: Abriendo la Participación held in Medialab Prado (Madrid). The event has gathered citizens from several Spanish cities and international experts in digital participation in order to discuss experiences on online tools for direct and deliberative democracy.
